With this pink cake decorating machine your cake will be completely smooth all around. The horizontal and vertical blades remove the excess icing and make the sides and top of the cake perfectly smooth. The turntable has a diameter of Ø 36,4cm and an adjustable speed of 40-225RPM.
This professional pink cake decorating machine ensures perfectly smooth and even cakes. The cake rotates on the platform, while the vertical and horizontal blades remove excess buttercream or icing, giving you an even finish on both sides and top. The machine has an adjustable speed from 40 to 225 RPM, with increments of 10 RPM. The turntable can rotate in both directions, offering extra flexibility.
Smooth cakes
Place the cake in the centre of the cake decorating machine. Place the vertical knife against the cake and rotate the turntable manually, keeping the distance between the knife and the cake even. Adjust the position of the cake if necessary. Then, move the vertical knife along the cake and the horizontal knife across the top. Turn on the cake decorating machine, set the desired speed (the recommended speed is 75-85 RPM) and use a piping bag with the cream of your choice, such as buttercream or ganache. Pipe the cream from the top outwards. The blades will remove excess cream and ensure an evenly-finished top. When the top is ready, pipe the cream along the sides, working from top to bottom. Adjust the blades to achieve sharper corners or a thinner layer of cream, depending on your preference.
Cleaning the cake decorating machine
It's important to clean the cake decorator thoroughly after each use. Remove all loose parts and wash them with warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use a sponge to avoid scratching the machine. Dry the parts thoroughly and clean the outside of the machine with a cloth. Replace the parts and store the machine in a dust-free area.
